T. R. Reid, author of “The Healing of America: A Global Quest for Better, Cheaper, and Fairer Health Care,” spoke to an audience at the George Washington University  Hospital at an event sponsored by Policy Prescriptions and the GW Emergency Medicine Residency program.

Mr. Reid discussed the upcoming paperback edition of his book where he provided insight as to the lessons other nations can teach America during the implementation of its new health reform law.

Attendees came from across the DC area including students from Georgetown and George Washington, doctors, faculty, and GW alumni. Many thanks to those who attended on October 1, 2010.
